Managing research projects end-to-end: from defining the research goals and methods, and coordinating fieldwork across markets to analysing findings into clear, usable outputs.

How I work

Integrated project or account lead
I join your team for a defined engagement, typically weeks to a few months. I take on a client account, lead a project end-to-end, or step in where a senior pair of hands is missing. This is the most common way we work together.
Targeted sprint
For when you need a specific output fast – a structured brief, a creative strategy, a project setup, or a tailored process framework ready to hand over to a team. Scoped and time-boxed, typically up to four weeks.
The practical stuff
What working with me looks like.
I'm based in Munich and also available remotely across DACH and Europe, and happy to travel when the project needs it. I work in English and German. I'm used to international teams and cross-market projects.
Day rate on request. Happy to discuss fixed-project pricing for clearly scoped work.

About me.
I’m Lena – a senior project and account lead with a Master’s degree (MA) in Design Management and experience in design, marketing, and innovation.
My career began in London, where I spent over eight years working in advertising, digital, and production agencies in both, permanent roles and as a freelancer. During this time, I collaborated with a diverse portfolio of clients, creative teams, and production partners across a broad range of design, marketing communications, and digital projects.
Today, I’m based in Munich. Most recently, I worked at BMW Group Design – an experience that broadened my perspective on how design, research, and business thinking come together to shape meaningful product experiences.
What defines my approach is the combination of strategic thinking, creative understanding, and structured execution. I’m particularly motivated by projects that bring clarity to complex topics and turn ideas into tangible results.
